Financial sustainability is one of the fundamental pillars for the uninterrupted operation of the Dr. Oswaldo Loor Foundation. Therefore, despite being a non-profit organization, reduced fees are charged for the clinical and surgical services it provides in order to ensure that, with the income generated, in addition to covering operational costs, the Social Programs provided free of
charge to its beneficiaries.

AGREEMENTS
Since its inception, the Foundation has signed agreements with different institutions that have allowed it to benefit low-income citizens of all the counties of the province of Manabí, both with prevention programs and eye health care as well as in the habilitation and rehabilitation of people with visual disabilities. As of November 2021, the following institutional agreements are in force:

Framework Agreement signed on October 16, 2018 with Universidad San Gregrorio de Portoviejo to establish cooperation in the development of activities related to the educational inclusion of students with visual impairment.

Agreement signed on August 13, 2019 with the GAD Municipal de Sucre for basic eye care and specialized ophthalmologic care for low-income inhabitants of that canton.
