WHAT WE DO?
With a team formed by ophthalmology assistants and a receptionist we visit the urban areas, sites and rural communities of all the cantons of the province of Manabí providing basic eye care.
WHO
INTERVENES?
In order to provide better care, visits are coordinated with institutions, associations, municipal boards of trustees or community leaders who, knowledgeable about their environment, gather patients to be attended by the Foundation’s staff.
AGREEMENTS SIGNED
Provincial Government of Manabi
Signed on November 19th, 2019 and extended until May 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to this agreement it was possible to provide basic eye care as well as specialized ophthalmological care free of charge to priority groups in the province of Manabi.
MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF Sucre
Agreement signed on August 13th, 2019 to provide basic eye care and specialized ophthalmological care for low-income inhabitants of that canton. To date, this agreement is still in force.
Municipal Government of Tosagua
Agreement signed on July 1st, 2021 to provide basic eye care and clinical ophthalmologic care for the low-income inhabitants of that canton. With this agreement, free care was provided until December 31, 2021.

HELP US TO HELP
Your contribution can improve the living conditions of people with limited economic resources in the province of Manabí. With it and with our contribution, a greater number of people will be able to obtain the following services partially or totally free of charge:
- Ophthalmological treatments or surgeries to prevent blindness
- Lenses for students with and without visual impairment
- Optical aids for people with low vision
- Technical or technological aids for visually impaired students
- Initial investment for visually impaired people with micro-enterprises
